I know other people have reported this problem, but the answer seems to have been to try installing things I already have. Jmd eine Idee? a52: CRC check failed! If the output from mplayer doesn't give anything conclusive, do a dmesg and search for any related errors.

Don't you have a DVD movie "backup" somewhere? How else should I try this? Your signal quality indeed seems to be pretty bad. Do _not_ use --enable-libdts, that will disable autodetection - instead make sure it is autodetected correctly.
